Trang Trang is an AANP certified family nurse practitioner and graduate of the School of Nursing at UCLA. Her undergraduate nursing degree is from Johns Hopkins University. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Trang's focus has always been helping underserved communities. Her path to becoming a nurse practitioner began as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal where she served as a community health worker for two years. Due to the lack of physicians in rural villages, she worked with local nurses who inspired her commitment to providing optimal health care with limited resources. Trang hopes to translate the lessons learned abroad to her work at Dr. Yang's Family Care.
Kim
Hello, my name is Kimberly. My friends and family just call me Kim for short. I am happily married with two beautiful children. Our son is 10 years old and our daughter is 6 years old. My family and I moved to sunny San Diego, CA in 2006 from the rainy Seattle, WA. Our family also has two cats Lily and Dito, and we enjoy being outdoors.
In our free time we enjoy snorkeling, fishing, bicycling on the beach, long walks, and game nights. My personal favorites are photography, chocolate, Starbucks, and candles.
I graduated from Olympia High School in 1998. I then attended Centralia Community College to earn my CNA. Once I moved to California, I went on to receive my MA at United Educational Institute here in San Diego. My love for people and my passion for making a difference led me to Dr. Yang's Family Care in August of 2009. I hope to learn and grow as a person as well as help others to better their health and lives.
